Fans of Jimmy Century

Fans of Jimmy Century are an electronic/pop/indie dance music group with hypnotic grooves, trip hop obsession, and a love for modern noir. They originated in San Francisco,〔http://www.marinij.com/lifestyles/ci_15978402〕 but now call the lively city of Las Vegas, Nevada, home. "Fans, Fans of Jimmy, Jimmy Century, or FOJC" is headed up by the talented vocalist Alicia Perrone and gifted guitarist Victor James. Originally formed in 2007, the band is known for songs such as "Va Va Voom to the Moon," "International," "Mr. Las Vegas," "Blonde Ambition," and "Hot Sahara" which helped steam up Showtime's The L Word in 2008, in a sexy scene known by L Word fanatics as "The Hot Sahara Scene." Hot Sahara went on to climb to #23 on the FMQB Top Dance Radio Charts, with heavy support and airplay on Energy 92.7 SF KNGY and Pulse 87 NYC. Additional Features include Ugly Betty, Samantha Who, and The Hills among others. In 2013, Va Va Voom to the Moon received strong support from Las Vegas' top pop station, Mix 94.1FM.
On Sept 29th, 2014 Fans of Jimmy Century released a pair of "twin singles" (on their own label Ann-Margrock Music)"Blackout" and "Lips On Mine." These singles mark the exciting collaboration of FOJC and hot production duo Eurotrash Collective. FOJC now plans to release multiple twin singles in pairs.
FoJC has built a loyal and fast-growing fanbase that extends into international audiences in many countries; Japan, Russia, and Brazil to name a few. FOJC is currently under contract with STButown Entertainment, Bungalo Records and UMGD with a former producer relationship with Malibu, California producer Gary Miller, Producer, who produced their first single for Universal - "Va Va Voom to the Moon."
Alicia Perrone, lead vocals, and Victor James are well-known celebrities in the US city of Las Vegas. Their exciting avant garde style pushes the boundaries of art, culture and societal norms which opens up questions concerning the "status-quo." With this style, Fans of Jimmy Century are able to remain relatively mysterious, yet draw millions of fans with their catchy and deeply lyrical inclinations. Also worth noting, is that Fans of Jimmy Century has a uniquely distinct stage presence and performance which is unlike any musical artist(s) to date.
Winner of the 6th annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop vote for best Dance/Electronica song "Cat & Mouse".
==Simon Stinger (previous band name)==
Fans of Jimmy Century were previously known as Simon Stinger. Alicia Perrone and Victor James were in the process of signing to Elektra Records in 2004 with then senior A&R of Elektra Ric Ocasek from The Cars. The record label went through a series of changes and ownership which caused multiple delays and eventually prevented the signing of Simon Stinger. Simon Stinger's track "French Connection" was iTunes Single of the Week during the month of May in 2004.
